Symptom
After the system is upgraded to Windows 10, the following Dolby Advanced Audio error message may appear:
Unable to start the Dolby audio driver. Please restart the computer or reinstall the driver if the problem persists.

This issue may occur after upgrading to Microsoft Windows 10.
Solution
Uninstall the original audio driver and install the latest Windows 10 audio from Lenovo Support Site.
How to uninstall the audio driver:
- Search for and select Control Panel.
- Select Programs and Features.
- Locate and find Realtek High Definition Audio, Conexant SmartAudio, or the IDT High Definition Audio driver.
- Select the driver from the list, select Uninstall, and then reboot.
How to reinstall the audio driver:

Option 3: Lenovo Support Site
- Open Lenovo Support site. Key in your product name.
- On the product page, click Drivers & Software.
- Select Drivers under Manual Update.
- Select Audio.
- Download the Windows 10 audio driver.
- Click the .exe file then follow the on-screen instructions to install.
Note: If the issue still persists after using the previous steps, please check Windows Support Center - Windows 10 to determine whether the system is supported with Windows 10.
