• Device settings-About

Special Note: Following a service repair, the Serial Number (SN) in Device settings and ThinkSmart Manager portal may be different than Product Label Serial Number (SN). The following QR code sticker indicates that a service repair has occured.

The Product Label Serial Number (SN) is used for warranty and service entitlement.

The Device settings Serial Number (SN) is used for ThinkSmart Manager portal https://portal.thinksmart.lenovo.com).

ThinkSmart View Plus is supported based on the following:

• Lenovo: Supports hardware repair, device recovery, Frequently Asked Question's (FAQ's), and How-To use.
• Microsoft: Supports Microsoft Teams software, and other Microsoft components obtained through their licensing agreements.

The ThinkSmart View Plus is an Android-based device. Firmware, Teams and software updates are Over-the-Air (OTA) from the Microsoft Teams admin center (https://admin.teams/micosoft.com).

Firmware and software updates include:

• Android OS
• Microsoft Teams Display

The IT administrator can set updates as:

• Manual
• Automatic

All updates are deployed in the background. This allows users to use the device while the is applied. After the update completes, the device is automatically restarted.

The firmware version, Teams version is identified in device settings. Click on: Profile icon → Settings icon  → Device Settings → About → Firmware Version.
