Description
This topic explains how to remove the login password from Windows 10 or 11.
Note: This practice is unsecure and will allow anyone to access your PC, so Lenovo highly recommends users have a password on the machine for security reasons. This process will not recover a forgotten password.

Solution
Windows 10
1. Type netplwiz in the Start menu search bar, then click the top result to run the command.
2. Uncheck the tick from the box next to Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer and hit Apply.
3. Enter the username and password, then re-enter the password. Click OK.
4. Click OK again to save the changes.
5. Reboot the system to test new settings.
Windows 11
1. Make sure Windows Hello sign-in options are disabled. Go to Start > Settings.
2. From the sidebar, select Accounts. Disable For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device (Recommended).
3. Type netplwiz in the Start menu search bar, then click the top result to run the command.
4. Uncheck the tick from the box next to Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer and hit Apply.
5. Enter the username and password, then re-enter the password. Click OK.
6. Click OK again to save the changes.
