Solution

The Novo button is usually located on the side or near the power button of the machine. The button is either a small button or pinhole with a backwards arrow icon next to it that resembles an upside down U. To press the button, use the tip of an unfolded paper clip (or similar object with a sharp tip) and gently press the Novo button.

On some models, the button is located on the right-side or left-side of the laptop.

1. The Novo button may be located at different places on different models. If you cannot find the button using the above illustrations, see the User Guide for more details. Go to lenovo official support website, and search to find your model's user guide.

2. Miix series tablets do not have the novo button. To recover the system, use Windows Push button reset.
