Intel Management Engine Firmware Update Tool - ThinkCentre M90, M90p and ThinkStation E20

1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.

• Added CyberTrust Root Certificate hashes and VeriSign Universal Root Certification Authority hash.

1. If you updated the AMT Firmware, you can NOT downgrade to the previous version.
2. Make sure the Management Engine Interface Driver is installed on the system when Windows tool is used.
3. During the update process, do NOT allow your system to power off.
4. The Windows tool supports Windows XP SP3, PE, Vista and Windows 7.
5. The DOS tool supports MS-DOS 6.22, Windows 98 DOS, DRMK DOS Version 8.00, FreeDOS Version 1.1.32a, PC-DOS Version 7.01.

Windows tool

1. Download the update tool fw6.1.20.1059.exe from the support website.
2. Run fw6.1.20.1059.exe in Windows.
3. In Vista/Windows 7, if the "User Account Control" window appears, please select "Allow". The update will take approximately 3-4 minutes to complete.
4. After the firmware update, a host restart is needed.

DOS tool

1. In DOS environment, run "DOSUpd.bat" in the directory of "DOS" Utility directory.
2. After the firmware update, a host restart is needed.

Check the update result in BIOS

1. Boot the system, enter BIOS Setup (F1), and verify the following information on the Advanced -> Intel(R) AMT screen:
         ME Firmware Version : 6.1.20.1059
2. If the above item match the AMT screen, the update was successful.
