- What is the difference between: Zoom Rooms Password, Room passcode, and Adminstrator Password?
- Zoom Rooms Password: This password is used to sign in to the Zoom Rooms account. View or change the default password from the Zoom Web (zoom.us/signin). Contact the administrator of your company to obtain the password.
- Room Passcode: This passcode is a lock code used to prevent unauthorized changes to the Zoom Rooms settings on ThinkSmart controller. The default passcode is 00000. The passcode may be changed from the Zoom Web (zoom.us/signin). For more information, Click: Managing Room Passcode for Zoom Rooms.
- Administrator Password: This password is used to log in to the Windows administrator account ZoomRoomsAdmin. If you claim ThinkSmart Core to ThinkSmart Manager, you can view or change the default password on ThinkSmart Manager. If you skip claiming ThinkSmart Core to ThinkSmart Manager, you will be prompted to change the default password on ThinkSmart controller. Troubleshooting
- Out-of-box-experience (OOBE) setup: During OOBE, there is no display on ThinkSmart Touch Controller.
- It is working as designed to show the OOBE window on the external display rather than ThinkSmart Touch Controller.
- It is required to connect an external display, keyboard, and mouse for the operating system setup.
- Out-of-box-experience (OOBE) setup: After forcing ThinkSmart Core to restart during OOBE process, it enters the WIN10 initial OOBE interface.
- After the WIN10 initial OOBE is set by the system prompt, the core will restart and enter the OOBE again. The OOBE will be set by the system prompt again.
- Hardware Deployment: Cannot identify whether the microphone is working.
- When the microphone is working properly, it will light up in green. When you mute it, it lights up in red.
- Windows: During OOBE, select Chinese related, the system shows English.
- For the pre-installed image with English language only, OOBE is just a selection of regions. You can download Chinese language package in system settings, re-enter the system.
- Zoom Rooms: After OOBE, if you are not connected to the network, the following interface will appear.
- If OOBE is not connected to the Internet, entering the ZoomR ooms account will stop at this interface. Connect wired network directly, or change Wi-Fi option to ON and select a Wi-Fi to connect. Also click the Windows Settings button to enter the administrator account to connect related network.

- Zoom Rooms: Cannot use external keyboard and mouse to enter the activation code.
- The activation code interface only supports ThinkSmart Controller to input code.

- Zoom Rooms: Zoom Rooms System cannot be logged in.
- Ensure that ThinkSmart Core is connected to a wired network.
- Zoom Rooms: Initial sign-in is not successful.

- Contact your administrator for access.
- Zoom Rooms: After signing in, no room names are available to select.
- Only dedicated users for managing Zoom Rooms can see the list of room names. Contact your administrator for access.
- Zoom Rooms: Wrong room name is displayed.
- Perform the following steps:
- Click Settings > Sign out.
- Enter the Room passcode.
- Sign in again and select the correct room name.
- Zoom Rooms: Monitor changes to duplicate mode and Zoom user interface (UI) is incorrect when switching to zoom after connecting network under admin account.
- Go to: Settings –> Windows settings –> ZoomRoomsAdmin to set multiple display relationships from duplicate to extend (settings-system-display).
- Go to: Settings –> Windows settings –> ZoomRoomsAdmin to set multiple display relationships from duplicate to extend (settings-system-display).
- Zoom Rooms: HDMI-IN does not display when unplugging the camera during a meeting.
- Disconnect and reconnect the HDMI-IN cable.
- Zoom Rooms: The external monitor and Aux display each show part of the screen or Aux display is not primary display after several reboots.
- Turn off and turn on the external display.
