My computer does not start up
Solution: If your computer does not start up, take the following steps: Check if the power indicator is on, to ensure that the power adapter is connected to your computer and the power cord of your computer is plugged into a working electrical outlet. If you are using a power strip or surge protector, ensure it is turned on and working. Press the power button to turn on your computer again. Solution: If your computer starts up slowly, try the following solutions one by one to troubleshoot and fix the issue: Ensure that your Windows operating system and drivers are up-to-date. Take the following steps: Type Windows update in the Windows search box and press Enter. Click Check for updates. If an update package is available, it will be automatically downloaded and installed. Remove unnecessary programs from the startup programs. Take the following steps: Open the Start menu, and then click Settings > Apps > Startup. In the Startup section, turn off the switch of programs that are not necessary to start automatically when you log in to Windows. . Enable Fast Startup. Take the following steps: Type choose a power plan in the Windows search box and press Enter. Select Choose what the power buttons do on the left sidebar. Click Change settings that are currently unavailable. Select Turn on fast startup under Shutdown settings tab, and then click Save changes. Ensure that your computer automatically manages paging file size. Take the following steps: Type view advanced system settings in the Windows search box and press Enter. Click the Advanced tab and click Settings under Performance. Click the Advanced tab and click Change under Virtual memory. Solution: If your computer gets stuck in sleep or hibernate mode, try the following solutions one by one to troubleshoot and fix the issue: Press any key on the keyboard, move the mouse, or quickly press the power button on your computer. Use the embedded keyboard or pointing device, or an external non-Bluetooth device. Restart your computer. Shut down your computer by pressing the power button for 10 seconds until the screen turns off. Wait about 1 minute. Then, press the power button to turn on your computer again. Click Change advanced power settings. Select Sleep > Allow wake timers. Enable On battery and Plugged in. Follow the on-screen instructions to save your changes. Change power management settings. Type Device Manager in the Windows search box and then press Enter. Select System devices. Double-lick Intel(R) Management Engine Interface #1. Clear Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power under the Power management tab. Follow the on-screen instructions to save your changes.
