Symptoms
The affected disks cannot be seen during Ubuntu 24 and 20 OS installation when they are a part of an Intel VROC array. This issue does not affect Ubuntu 22

Cannot find the VROC device. Only non-RAID disks can be found.

The VROC device is found
Fix
This is an Ubuntu defect. However, the Ubuntu development team has not committed to a fix yet. The status of the defect can be followed here.

No workaround currently.

Only the listed affected disks can reproduce the issue when installed in a VROC array, Other disk types have been successfully tested as part of a VROC array.
