Symptom
When VLANs are not enabled in UEFI on an Emulex VFA5.2 Ethernet adapter, LXCA displays the VLAN ID value and the VLAN priority ID value as non-matching values.
(where LXCA = Lenovo XClarity Administrator)
Affected Configurations
The system may be any of the following Lenovo servers:
- ThinkSystem SR630, Type 7X01, any model
- ThinkSystem SR630, Type 7X02, any model
The system is configured with at least one of the following:
- Lenovo XClarity Administrator (LXCA), any model See below for specific versions
The system is configured with one or more of the following Lenovo Options:
- Emulex VFA5.2 2x10 GbE SFP+ Adapter and FCoE/iSCSI SW, Option 00AG580, any model
- Emulex VFA5.2 2x10 GbE SFP+ PCIe Adapter, Option 00AG570, any model
- Emulex VFA5.2 ML2 2x10 GbE SFP+ Adapter and FCoE/iSCSI SW, Option 01CV770, any model
- Emulex VFA5.2 ML2 Dual Port 10GbE SFP+ Adapter, Option 00AG560, any model
The system has the symptom described above.
Note: This does not imply that the network operating system will work under all combinations of hardware and software.

Solution
This behavior will be corrected in a future release of adapter firmware.
The target date for this release is scheduled for Second Quarter 2018.

Workaround
Check the actual VLAN ID and VLAN priority ID under the UEFI adapter settings.
Additional Information
Reading the VLAN ID and VLAN priority ID under the UEFI page instead of the Lenovo LXCA can avoid the issue.
