Important Changes to the Lenovo Electronic Service Request Submission Process

A new feature has been launched to allow Service Requests to be submitted online for all Lenovo PC products via a single platform. This replaces the IBM MTSA (Managed Technical Support Access) system.

In countries where online service requests are available, these can be submitted by visiting support.lenovo.com, entering the serial number of the product to be serviced, and navigating to the Contact Us section. There are also many self-help options available online prior to submitting a service request – this will result in a much quicker resolution.

While only a serial number is needed to use this function, logging in with a Lenovo ID will give commercial customers significant advantages, including a convenient way to view and download service history as well as comment on created Service Requests. Ideally, use the same email address for the Lenovo ID and the MTSA access. This allows you to see service history within the Lenovo ID profile. Lenovo will process personal data in line with Lenovo´s global Privacy Statements.

In addition, repair status is now available in one central location at support.lenovo.com/repairstatus.
