Removal:Computer Cover

Before removing the Front USB/Audio remove the following FRUs:

  1. Computer cover
  2. Optical Drive
  3. Hard Disk Drive
  4. Drive Bay Assembly
  5. Front bezel

After removing the above FRUs, preform the following steps:

  1. Disconnect the Front Audio/USB Assembly cables from the systemboard.
  2. Open the cable clip and remove the Front Audio/USB Assembly cables.
  3. Remove the single retaining screw
  4. Lift the Front Audio/USB Assembly until it is released from the chassis.
  5. Pull the cable through the chassis and remove it.
