If your device is not listed in the table below, your system was not tested by Lenovo and updated drivers may not be available. If you want to proceed with upgrading or updating an untested device, refer to the Microsoft Windows Help website. Microsoft may provide generic drivers for the hardware as part of Windows 10, but some features and functionality may be lost.

Limitations

1. Old versions of the Lenovo Vantage app do not work on Windows 10 (1903). Before upgrading to Windows 10 (1903), please be sure to update Lenovo Vantage to the latest version. You can update Lenovo Vantage within the app or from the Microsoft Store.
2. Intel RealSense Cameras F200
   After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), if your computer installed with the F200 camera, the camera function and camera-related functions such as Windows Hello might not work correctly. This is a limitation. Microsoft will release KB4501375 through Windows Update on June 27, 2019 to fix the problem.
3. Intel RealSense Cameras SR300
   After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), if your computer installed with the SR300 camera, the Intel(R) RealSense(TM) Camera SR300 Virtual Driver will disappear and camera functions such as Windows Hello might not work correctly. This is a limitation and Intel will no longer update this driver. To fix the problem, please roll back to Windows 10 (1809) by clicking Settings -> Update & Security -> Recovery -> Go back to the previous version of Windows 10. 4. ThinkPad Yoga 370 with Wacom Touch Screen
   After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), in Tablet mode, after waking up from the sleep mode, the touch function might not work correctly. This is a limitation.
   To fix the problem, do either of the following:
   • Launch Lenovo Vantage and click System Update to get the latest WinTab Utility driver.
   • Download and install the latest WinTab Utility driver from Lenovo Support Web site.
5. ThinkPad P52, P72, and P1/X1 Extreme with Intel CPU
   After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), when you install Intel Management Engine Firmware V.12.0.35.1427 downloaded from Lenovo Support Web site or through Lenovo Vantage, the warning message “Intel Management Engine install failed” displayed. This is a limitation.

6. ThinkPad T480 with Thunderbolt hardware components
   After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), when you launch the Thunderbolt software, the error message “This thunderbolt application is not in use anymore and can be safely uninstalled.” displayed. This is a limitation.
   To fix the problem, do the following:
   1) Open Device Manager and click System devices. Right-click Thunderbolt(TM) Controller-15BF and select Uninstall device.
   2) Open Control Panel and view by Category. Click Programs-> Programs and Features -> Uninstall a program. Right-click Thunderbolt software and select Uninstall.
   3) Save this file (FixTBTdriverMalfunction) to your computer. Right-click CleanTBT.bat and select Run as administrator. 4) Download and install the latest Thunderbolt software from Lenovo Support Web site.
7. ThinkPad E480 with AMD graphics card
   After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), when you right-click a blank area on the desktop and then click AMD Radeon settings, the error message “Radeon Settings and Driver versions do not match. Please try again after updating to the latest versions.” displayed. This is a limitation.
   To fix the problem, download and install the latest AMD video driver from Lenovo Support Web site. Then restart your computer. The AMD Radeon settings will work correctly.

      After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), if you click Device Manager -> System devices -> PCI Express Root Complex -> PCI Express Root Port -> AMD High Definition Audio Controller, there might be a question mark “?” before Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus. This is a limitation. However, the question mark does not have any impact on your using of either the devices or the operating system. To remove the question mark, right-click on Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus, and then select Uninstall device.
   5. Lenovo Desktop M715s with onboard Graphic card
   6. After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), when you disconnect the external display from your computer, the main display might keep blinking. This is because you have changed the screen resolution from the recommended value to the others. To solve the problem, do the following:
      1). Download and install the following driver from the Lenovo Support Web site:
      AMD Onboard Graphics driver for Windows 10 64-bit - ThinkCentre M715t, M715s
      2). Restart your computer if necessary.
   
   
   7. ThinkCenter E96

   Limitations

   1. Old versions of the Lenovo Vantage app do not work on Windows 10 (1903). Before upgrading to Windows 10 (1903), please be sure to update Lenovo Vantage to the latest version. You can update Lenovo Vantage within the app or from the Microsoft Store.
   2. Intel RealSense Cameras F200
      After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), if your computer installed with the F200 camera, the camera function and camera-related functions such as Windows Hello might not work correctly. This is a limitation. Microsoft will release KB4501375 through Windows Update on June 27, 2019 to fix the problem.
   3. Intel RealSense Cameras SR300
      After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1809) to Windows 10 (1903), if your computer installed with the SR300 camera, the Intel(R) RealSense(TM) Camera SR300 Virtual Driver will disappear and camera functions such as Windows Hello might not work correctly. This is a limitation and Intel will no longer update this driver. To fix the problem, please roll back to Windows 10 (1809) by clicking Settings -> Update & Security -> Recovery -> Go back to the previous version of Windows 10.
