1. To replace the system fan assembly, install the two short rubber mounts as shown between the fan housing and the chassis.
2. Position the fan into place and push the long rubber mounts through the holes in the chassis as shown.
3. Pull the mounts through the holes from the inside of the chassis until the fan is in its proper position.
4. Cut the long rubber mounts to fit.
5. Remove the extra rubber for the mounts.
6. Connect the fan cable to the systemboard.
7. Be certain that the cables are routed properly.
8. To replace the hard disk drive, first install the drive into its plastic bracket by flexing the bracket and aligning its pins with the holes in the drive.
9. Do not touch the circuit board on the bottom of the drive.
10. Connect the signal cable and power cable.
11. Slide the drive into the bay as shown until it snaps into position.
12. To replace the side cover, position the cover on the chassis so that the rail guide on the bottom of the cover engages the rail.
13. Push the cover closed until it snaps into position.
