Installation instructions
Note:
If your computer runs satisfactorily now, it may not be necessary to update the software. To determine if you should update the software, refer to the Version Information section.
Manual Install
Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
Double-click the package to extract it to your hard drive. The default location is C:\Drivers\Win\TPM.
Click Start and click Run, then type CMD and click OK.
Specify SETUP.EXE -nopicon with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK. Example: C:\Drivers\Win\TPM\Setup.exe -nopicon
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Click Finish to reboot the system to complete the installation.
Determining which version is installed
To check the version of the device driver that is installed on your system, follow the instructions below:
Start Windows XP.
Click Start, then click Control Panel.
Click Performance and Maintainance , then click System.
Click the Hardware tab.
Click Device Manager.
Expand the System devices category, and double click Intel Trusted Platform Module.
Click Driver tab and check the Driver Version.
