Solution
To verify version of Chrome OS:
At the Google Sign-in Screen, press Alt+V. The top right-hand corner will display the OS version, Platform version, and Serial Number of the system.
1) Update to Chrome OS version 70 or newer.
2) If user previously disabled the Touchscreen as a workaround then perform the following:
Launch the Chrome browser and type the following path:
chrome://flags/#ash-debug-shortcuts
Locate the debugging keyboard shortcuts and click Disable. (Disable is the selected Default.)
Select the Relaunch Now icon to restart Chrome to apply the changes.
