Peripheral Configurations

ThinkSmart Manager users can create a predefined set of configurations to apply on their peripherals, and is available for:

Note: Jabra Panacast P50 requires a ThinkSmart Manager Premium License to manage its settings.

Solution

To create a predefined set of configurations, follow these steps:

Step 1: Create Peripheral Configuration

Go to Device Manager → Peripheral Configurations.

Hover over the Create button  Create button and select Create Configuration to create set of peripheral settings.
Create Configuraiton

Within Create Configuration:

  • Enter the Configuration name.
  • From the Peripheral Type drop-down, select ThinkSmart Cam or All in One Camera.
  • Adjust settings for:
    • AI Configurations
      Note: It is recommended to disable AI features like Automated Zoom, Speaker Tracking, and Whiteboard Detection when using Microsoft Teams Room's Cloud IntelliFrame.
    • Device Settings
  • Click the Create Configuration button.

Create Configuration

Click on the configuration in the list to open Configuration Details tray and edit it.

Note: That the Peripheral Type of the created configuration cannot be modified.

Step 2: Apply Peripheral Configuration

Open the device tray and click on action item of a peripheral you created the configuration for.

Select a configuration from Camera configurations drop-down and click the Save button to apply configurations.
