Solution

Change Camera settings with Lenovo Vantage

Search for and open Lenovo Vantage. Navigate to My Device Settings --> Display & Camera to adjust the camera based on preferences.

  • Under Device, My Device Settings, Camera - Set camera to On.
  • Under My Device Settings, Display & Camera -  Set privacy and other settings.

Disable the camera

  • In the Display & Camera section of Lenovo Vantage, set Camera Privacy Mode to On to disable the camera if you do not want to share camera images with others.
  • Windows 10 privacy settings can be accessed by navigating to Settings --> Privacy --> Camera where you can choose which apps are allowed to use the camera. For additional information, see How to set camera (or microphone) privacy settings in Windows 10 and 11.
    1. Select Start and Settings.

    3. Select Camera and choose which apps are allowed to use the camera. You can also set Allow apps to access your camera to On or Off.
