Symptom
When typing and then immediately switching to the Touchpad or TrackPoint, there is a delay of about a second before the Touchpad or TrackPoint responds.

Solution
Use the following steps:
- Identify which device has the slow response – TrackPoint (#1) or Touchpad (#2).
- Go to Control Panel.
- Select Devices.
- Select Mouse.
- Select the ThinkPad tab. Increase the sensitivity of the TouchPad or TrackPoint.
- Update to the latest ThinkPad UltraNav driver from Lenovo PC Support Site.
- Visit Lenovo PC Support Site.
- Search, detect, or browse for your model.
- Select your model from the drop-down list to navigate to the product support Home page.
For example: T14 Gen 5
- Select Drivers & Software.
- Click Select Drivers in the Manual Update tile.
- Search for the desired driver using keywords and select the tile to continue. In this case, enter the keyword: UltraNav.
- Select the latest UltraNav driver to download.
