SMBIOS / WMI 'Family' string is incorrect - ThinkCentre M90n-1

Symptom

The WMI information returned by the 'wmic Computersystem get systemfamily' is incorrect. The 'Family' string in the Type 1 SMBIOS structure is also incorrect.

They both return the string "ThinkCentre". The string should be "ThinkCentre M90n-1".

Solution

Do not replace any hardware.

The 'Family'string can be updated by:

Download the Windows BIOS Update program found at: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/downloads/DS540387.
Extract the files from the program. The default folder is located at: C:\SWTOOLS\FLASH\M2AJYnnUSA (where 'nn' is the current BIOS level).
Open a Command window with Administrator privilege and change to the folder where the files were extracted.
In the Command window, execute the following command: AMIDEWINx64.exe /SF "ThinkCentre M90n-1"

Additional Information

For other updateable fields, reference the readme.txt in the same folder where the files were extracted.
