Please see the compatibility page for more information: http://www.lenovo.com/us/en/serverproven/

Solution

The fix is available in Lenovo XClarity Controller (XCC) version afbt18j or later.

The file is or will be available by selecting the appropriate Product Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type, and Operating system on Lenovo Support web page, at the following URL:

http://datacentersupport.lenovo.com/

Workaround

Reboot the XCC.

In the Quick Actions section of the XCC homepage, select Power Action. Select Restart Management Controller and then select OK. Once the XCC has completed the reboot, the newly created virtual disk will be visible in XCC.

Additional Information

This is due to an issue with XCC firmware. If no virtual disk has ever been created before on the system with a ThinkSystem 5350-9350 Series Adapter, the newly created virtual disk will not be displayed on XCC Web GUI or any other XCC interfaces.

After rebooting XCC and a virtual disk is visible on XCC, creating another virtual disk will immediately be reflected on XCC.
