ThinkStation Front 1394 Cable (4X90H04224) provides front 1394 interface in the front panel. ThinkStation Front 1394 cable should be installed into ThinkStation 5.25” Flex Module (4XF0G94538).

IEEE 1394 is a Universal Serial Bus (USB) standard, transfer rate (1394 supports transfer speeds up to 400 Mb/s, and even higher rates have been proposed for the next revision of the standard), many additional devices can be connected to a 1394 bus. These could include devices like hard drives, motion video recorders, sound mixers, and so forth.

Hardware Requirements

Comapatible with ThinkStation P300, P310, P410 Tower, P500, P510, P700, P710, P900, P910.

To install Front 1394 Cable into ThinkStation P500, P700, P900, customer must have a ThinkStation 5.25” Flex Module (4XF0G94538).
