Overview

ThinkSmart Core is a modular room kit designed for flexibility and scalability in meeting spaces. These purpose-built, modular room kit solutions start with ThinkSmart Core, a compute that is powered by 11th Gen Intel CoreTM vProTM processors with Intel Iris X graphics for optimized business productivity and collaboration. It includes the ThinkSmart Manager Service (TSMS)

ThinkSmart Core Device: Zoom Rooms is certified and preloaded with Zoom Rooms to help employees connect, share and collaborate seamlessly and securely from wherever they may be working.

Depending on the model, the ThinkSmart Core Device: Zoom Rooms (11RW) is available in the following configurations:

Finding the Serial Number (SN)

ThinkSmart Core unit serial number can be found by one of the following:

  • Printed label on the ThinkSmart Core device
  • Windows IoT Administrator Account
  • ThinkSmart Manager portal

The serial number is on the printed product label on the bottom of the ThinkSmart Core unit.

Windows IoT Adminstrator (Admin) Account

Use the following steps:

  1. Open the Command Prompt by pressing the Windows Key on the keyboard.
  2. Press X key.
  3. Select Command Prompt (Admin) on the menu.
  4. On the keyboard, enter the following command: wmic bios get serialnumber

This serial number appears on the screen.

If the the device has been add to the ThinkSmart Manager (portal.thinksmart.lenovo.com), follow these steps:

  1. From Home, select Device Manager, then select Devices.
  2. Select the device, and the following appears.

ThinkSmart Core Device: Zoom Rooms is supported based on the following:

  • Lenovo: Supports hardware repair, device recovery, Frequently Asked Question's (FAQ's), and How-To use.
  • Zoom: Supports Zoom, and other Zoom components obtained through their licensing agreements.

Drivers and Software Updates

The following identifies how to update the various drivers and software.

Note: Windows features an on-screen keyboards when used with a touch controller. However, for ease-of-use, Lenovo recommends a USB keyboard, mouse and external display.

Lenovo Diagnostics

Lenovo Diagnostics UEFI Bootable is embedded within the ThinkSmart Core. To create a flash disk, click: Create Bootable USB with UEFI Diagnostics.

Leovo Diagnostics requires a USB keyboard, mouse and external display is required.

Note: Only selected HDMI connectors support attachment of a HDMI monitor. For more information, refer to the ThinkSmart Core Kit Hardware Maintenance Manual (English).

Method One: Press F12 during initial power-on when Lenovo logo screen appears:

Press the F12 during the start sequence. The Setup Drive Menu appears.
