How to resolve error Nvidia Display Settings are not available

Symptom

Power on the system to Windows desktop and click Nvidia setting icon or select Nvidia control panel. The error Nvidia Display Settings are not available. will be shown on the desktop. The system cannot open the Nvidia Control Panel which is configured with the Intel i3-6006 CPU.

Solution

To get rid of this error message and fix the issue, update the Nvidia VGA driver to 22.21.13.8205 or higher.

Option one: Download Nvidia VGA driver from this link. Install and update to fix this issue.

Option two: Use the following method to update when connecting to the network.

  1. Enter Device Manager.
    Device Manager
  2. Navigate and expand Display adapters.
  3. Right-click NVIDIA driver > Update driver.
    Update driver

Option three: Keep the computer connected to the internet. Run Windows Update. The Nvidia VGA driver will be updated automatically.
