- Slide the old the battery latch in the unlocked position.
- Slide the battery pack out of the bay.
- Remove the two retaining screws.
- Using the indention on the base cover, use your finger to push the bottom door and remove it.
- Remove the two retaining screws on the bottom of the system.
- Turn the system over and open the cover.
- Gently pry the keyboard up by starting at the track point buttons and working along the edges.
- Move the keyboard forward and the rest it on the palm rest.
- Disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.
- Remove the keyboard.
