ThinkReality A6 (20QL, 20QM) is a lightweight, head-mounted Augmented Reality glass with game-changing technology for organizations looking to improve workforce efficiency. Featuring innovative functionalities, this mobile device uses Augmented Reality (AR) applications for users to receive expert assistance, reduce repair times, eliminate errors, streamline complex workflows, improve training quality, and lower operational costs.
The A6 is optimized to work with Lenovo’s ThinkReality platform - a scalable software solution to build, deploy, and manage AR and VR applications and hardware devices. The ThinkReality platform has its own hardware, operating system, and Cloud diagnostic. This means that organizations can effortlessly build, deploy, and manage custom AR software applications across various operating systems, Cloud services, and AR devices.
Features include:
- Crafted for the modern workforce: The dynamic workforce demands a modern workspace, and the ThinkReality A6 is here to deliver. Packed with a suite of sensors and optics such as a depth sensor, VPU, proximity sensor, 13MP RGB camera, dual fish-eye cameras, and an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), this device enables advanced 3D visualization, spatial mapping, object recognition, and digital information overlay. The ThinkReality A6 runs on the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 845 SoC (System-on-Chip) Processor and Intel® Movidius™ VPU offering versatile functionality and an improved user experience. Lumus Waveguide optics with 1080p resolution per eye and 40° Field of View provide a greater visual field with enhanced image quality. The Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) technology support enables real-time mapping and tracking of physical space for efficient collaboration.
- Designed for any office environment: The ThinkReality platform offers a range of micro services from Lenovo that form an essential feature of software offerings for Augmented Reality solutions. Inclusive offerings like a remote expert, workflow builder, 3D visualization, optical character recognition, voice control, object recognition, and multi-user collaboration, these services expand accessibility and enhance user experience. Users can customize these micro services to create applications with content specific to use case needs that may arise in their organizations and work environments
- Ease of use: Weighing less than 380g with a contoured cushioned headband, the lightweight and comfortable ThinkReality A6 redefines mobile productivity. The removable 6800mAh battery offers up to 4 hours of power - enough to execute and manage operations between charges. Proximity sensors in the A6 automatically turns off the device when not in use to save battery life. The in-built NFC chip helps share data with other NFC compatible devices. Plus, WiFi and Bluetooth® connectivity support make it easy for the workforce to stay connected across floors and departments. Designed with controllers that support voice, gesture, gaze, device on/off, and 6DoF (Degrees of Freedom), the ThinkReality A6 allows users to interact intuitively via different input methods, thereby enhancing efficiency and improving productivity.
