- To remove the front cover, we must first remove two thumb screws.
- Then we’re going to press down on the release button, slide the cover towards the rear of the system and remove it.
- To release the memory module, pull outward on the two clips and then pull the module from the socket.
- And here we have our replacement memory module.
- When replacing the memory module, it is important to align the notch on the module with the tab in the socket.
- Then you place the module into the socket and press down on the corners until the clips lock into place.
- When replacing the front cover, we want to ensure that the tabs on the cover align with the slots on the chassis. Then we are going to place the cover onto the chassis and slide it forward to the front of the system.
- Then we are going to replace two thumb screws.
