- Place the computer face-down on a clean, soft and flat surface
- Slide the hold the stand release lever up into the unlocked position
- Lift the rear of the stand up from the chassis connection
- Press the release latches outward on the lower side of the Computer Cover and
- lift the computer cover up and away from the chassis
- Squeeze the release lever on the hard disk drive
- Slide then raise the hard disk drive and bracket to remove it
