II. Installation instructions If the Integrated Bluetooth II Software is already installed on your ThinkPad, uninstall the software using the following procedure:
Click Start, select Control Panel, then click Add or Remove Programs.
Select Integrated Bluetooth II Software and click the Remove button.
When the following message appears click the Yes button: "Are you sure you want to remove Integrated Bluetooth II Software from your computer?"
If the following message appears, turn off the Bluetooth power and click the OK button: "Please turn off or remove your Bluetooth device before continuing with the un-installation."
Click the OK button to restart the system.
Installation instructions
Start Windows XP.
Insure Windows XP SP1 is already installed. You do not have to use this package if you are using Windows XP SP2.
Check if the Microsoft Bluetooth Software is already installed.
Turn the Bluetooth power on.
In the Found New Hardware Wizard window, select Install from a list or specific location (Advanced) and click Next.
Select Search for the best driver in these locations:, check Include this location in the search, and input the location where you expanded the Microsoft Bluetooth support package to. The default location is C:\Drivers\WIN\MSBTACT2.
Click Next. The driver will be loaded automatically.
Note: If you are asked for the location of the file bth_oobc.dll, point to the location C:\Windows\System32.
