1.  Support for 512-bit keys in RADIUS certificates.

This utility updates the Intel(R) Management Engine's firmware of the local machine.

This package is for use with systems that are AMT capable.

How to install the software:

Before using this tool (Important!!!)

======================

1   Make sure the Management Engine Interface Driver is installed on the system when Windows tool is used.

2.  During the update process, do NOT allow your system to power off.

3.  The Windows tool supports Windows XP SP3, PE, Vista ,Windows 7 32&64 and windows 8 32&64

    The Dos tool supports MS-DOS 6.22, Windows 98 DOS, DRMK DOS Version 8.00, FreeDOS Version 1.1.32a, PC-DOS Version 7.01.

NOTE: windows 32 and 64 tool are locate in different folder. windows 32bit tool is default.

Updating the ME firmware_Windows Tool

1.  Download the update tool 9.1.26.1006.exe from the support website.

2.  Run 9.1.26.1006.exe in Windows. In Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8, if the "User Account Control"

    window appears, please select "Allow".  The update will take approximately 3-4 minutes

    to complete.

    NOTE:if the "User Account Control" window not appears, update tool will return "Error 8193".

    when "error 8193" appears, please execute the 9.1.26.1006.exe as adminitrator.

3.  After the firmware update, a host restart is needed.

NOTE: windows 32 and 64 tool are locate in different folder. windows 32bit tool is default.
