Description

The Slide To Shutdown option is a way to shut down the PC or tablet in Windows. This option allows Windows to be shut down with a simple drag or touch gesture.

Solution

Method One

  1. Open Run.
  2. Type slidetoshutdown. The following window will be shown. Slide down to shut down or slide up to cancel.

Method Two

  1. Browse to C:\Windows\System32.
  2. Scroll down and right-click slidetoshutdown.exe and choose the action. Create a desktop shortcut or pin it to the taskbar or Start screen.
