Description

The Windows Copilot key will provide the following experiences when invoking the Copilot key:

  1. Press to launch Copilot for Windows. Timing of feature delivery and availability varies by market and device. It requires a Microsoft account to log in.
  2. If Windows Copilot is not available on the device (for example the operating system is downgraded to an older Windows 10/11 version where Windows Copilot is not supported, unavailable in the user's local market, or has been disabled via IT Policy), then pressing the Copilot key will launch Windows Search.

Lenovo has deployed the Windows Copilot keykey on the keyboard, for systems with 22H2 Windows preloaded. Use the following steps to ensure the Windows Copilot key works properly after updating to 23H2.

1. Update to the latest Windows 11 version using Windows Update.

a. Go to Start menu and Settings.

b. Select Windows Update. Set Get the latest updates as soon as they're available to On. 

c. Click Check for updates, then update to the latest Windows version.

d. Check the operating system Version and build using Start menu, Settings, System, About.

The Windows 11 23H2 build version may be 22631.****.

2. If you are not able to get 23H2, wait for Windows update or try again until 23H2 shows as available.

3. Update to the latest Edge version. Make sure the Edge version is 115.0.1901.150 or later. Check the Edge Version using Edge, Settings, About Microsoft Edge, About.
