System Is Configured With

More than one USB-C device that is capable of providing power. (Example: USB-C AC power adapter, USB-C Dock / Thunderbolt3 Dock, USB-C Monitor / Thunderbolt3 Monitor, USB-C power bank…)

Solution

Lenovo recommends users immediately update the system BIOS to the current version on the Lenovo Support site.

Note: Users should remove all connected devices from the system and only connect one Lenovo USB-C AC power adapter to the USB-C power connector on the system when performing the BIOS update.

The table below shows the minimum required version that contains the solution.

Contact Lenovo Support for assistance if the battery capacity is decreasing and all of the items below have been confirmed:

  • The Lenovo USB-C AC power adapter is connected to the systems USB-C power port
  • The Battery Charge Threshold is disabled
  • The battery charge is less than 94%
