To create recovery media in Windows or with the help of Lenovo OneKey Recovery
Option One: Create recovery discs via Lenovo OneKey Recovery (selected Lenovo, Idea laptops)
A DVD or USB recovery media solution from Lenovo, to recover the software on your computer, may not be required. Select Lenovo, Idea systems have a separate hard drive partition called: Lenovo OneKey Recovery (OKR). The OKR hard drive partition has the Lenovo-installed operating system and program files. If the system hard drive is working, and recovery information has not been destroyed, you can perform a system recovery using Lenovo OneKey Recovery.
To check your system for Lenovo OneKey Recovery, go to Control Panel Programs and determine if Lenovo OneKey Recovery is included in the installed programs list.

System Restore helps you restore your computer system’s files to an earlier point in time. System Restore is a method to undo system changes without affecting your personal files. Sometimes, the installation of a program, or a driver can cause unexpected change to your computer or cause Windows to behave unpredictably. Restore points are created when you install a new app, driver or Windows Update, and when you manually create a restore point. System restore does not affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers and updates installed after the restore point was made. For more information, go to:
