Overview and What’s New
This Best Recipe release certifies new Lenovo ThinkAgile VX products, and firmware and driver packages for existing ThinkAgile VX products.
The firmware packages are bundled within xClarity Repository Packs that can be deployed onto systems using xClarity Administrator or vCenter vLCM leveraging xClarity Integrator.
The driver packages are bundled within the Lenovo Custom Image. In this release, there will be two types of custom images. Custom Images for sustaining products (in support since a previous Best Recipe,) with suffix S01 and custom images for new products (in support for the first time within the best recipe) with suffix N01. Since these images apply to all Lenovo equipment, some packages may need to be replaced, as applicable to certain VX systems (see individual VX Model pages, notes section, for details).
This release adds and enhances support for:

- ThinkAgile VX645 v3, VX665 v3, VX635 v3 and VX655 v3 based on AMD Genoa
- ThinkAgile VX650 v2 and ThinkAgile VX650 v3 SmartNIC (DPU) enabled systems
- VMware vSphere 8.0U1a – Lenovo Custom Image
- VMware vSphere 7.0U3l – Lenovo Custom Image
- Lenovo xClarity Integrator 8.2
- Lenovo xClarity Administrator 4.0.6
- Lenovo ThinkAgile VX Deployer 2.1
Lenovo VX Deployer is available to customers using VX Appliances and Integrated Systems, together with Lenovo Professional Services for faster Day1/Day2 operations of their VX Solution (for more details click here)
