      Lenovo Solution Center is not displaying Battery or System Warranty information - ThinkCentre, ThinkStation, ThinkPad, IdeaPad G-series

       

      Symptom

      The Lenovo Solution Center is displaying a message, “Unable to determine warranty”, for the System and displaying a message, “not available”, for the Battery.

      Affected Configuration:

      The above symptom is associated with, but not limited to, the following systems:

      • ThinkCentre
      • ThinkStation
      • ThinkPad
      • IdeaPad G-series

      System is configured with;

      Lenovo Solution Center

      Operating System
      • Microsoft Windows 7
      • Microsoft Windows 8
      Additional Information

      Due to a high volume of web activity for warranty searches, this function has been temporarily disabled.

      Solution

      A new level, version 2.0.018, of the Lenovo Solution Center will be released.

      Workaround

      Go to the following URL to determine accurate warranty information until a new version of Lenovo Solution Center is released:
