      Intel AppUp does not appear to be translated in German and Italian for EMEA systems - ThinkCentre, ThinkStation, ThinkPad

       

      Symptom

      For EMEA systems, Intel AppUp does not appear to be translated in German and Italian languages. Multilingual systems such as EMEA (English, French, German, Italian) systems display English as the default even when the user has selected another language at the initial Microsoft settings.

      Additional Information

      Lenovo is working with Microsoft and Intel to resolve this issue.

      Solution

      Users may change the language display through the "My Profile" settings.

      Workaround
      1. The user should log in or register as the user.
      2. Click the “My Profile” option from the top menu.
      3. Select the “Preferences” tab.
      4. Change the language by clicking on the List box to select the Primary Language from English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
      5. The "Language Changed" confirmation dialog will be displayed. To confirm Intel AppUp will now be updated with content for your selected languages, the user should click the Update button.
