      What is a pop-up window?

      Pop-up window is a small Web browser window that suddenly appears at the top of the site you are reading. Usually, pop-up window are generated for advertisement.

      What is a pop-up blocker?

      Pop-up blocker is a feature of Internet Explorer that blocks most unwanted pop-up windows. You can choose different blocking level as you want, such as "Block all pop-ups","Allow pop-ups from secure site". The message "A pop-up was blocked".

      To see this pop-up or additional options, click here… " will appear on the information bar when the pop-up blocker was turned on.

      1. Run IE browser, press ALT to bring out the hidden menu. Click "Tools", you can see "Pop-up Blocker" on the pull-down menu, which is turned on by default.


      2. Click " Turn Off Pop-up Blocker " , and click " Yes ".


      3. Find "Pop-up Blocker" again according to step1. You can see only "Turn On Pop-up Blocker" is available. "Pop-up Blocker Settings" option is in grey. Click "Turn On Pop-up Blocker".


      4. Click "Yes" in the "Pop-up Blocker" window.
