When the mouse is used to scale the WinDVD 10 window, the scaling works fine if the window is above native size. If the mouse is used below normal size, motions become erratic. The scaling cursor become separated from the window horizontally. The amount of scaling performed is random, and the direction can reverse.
This was partially fixed in WinDVD 10.0.5.539 so that mouse motions to make the window bigger work properly.
Any of the following systems but not limited to the following systems:
- ThinkCentre M70z (all models)
- ThinkCentre A85 (all models)
- ThinkCentre M80 (all models)
- Microsoft Windows 7
- Microsoft Windows Vista
- Microsoft Windows XP
Note: The system is configured with WinDVD 10.
There is some delay while DirectX scales the video window. The mouse messages to position and scale the window arrive out of order due to this delay. The message handling loop does not keep up, so acts randomly
None. Do not replace any hardware for this issue.
This will be corrected in a future version of WinDVD 10.
Release the mouse and move it again if it comes apart from the window edge.
