For the M58/M58p machine, the AMT by default will enable DHCP, so that before it boots up into the operating system, it will get an IP address from the DHCP server. When disabling AMT in system BIOS cannot completely disable the AMT DHCP features.
Any of the following systems but not limited to the following systems:
- ThinkCentre M58 (all models)
- ThinkCentre M58p (all models)
The user must enter the AMT (press Ctrl p) to disable the DHCP first, then disable the AMT in BIOS.

Completely disable AMT - The only way to do this is physically sit at the PC, go into the AMT menu and set the AMT options to "none". There is no way to do this remotely because of AMT security considerations.
