Microsoft Windows bluescreen trap errors (BSOD, Blue screen Of Death) using Windows 7 platform with the Intel 80GB SSD.
The drive may fail to respond to the host During Execution of the Data Set Management Command with Trim Attribute (Windows 7 exclusive attribute). Drives executing the Data Set Management Command with Trim Attribute that are in the act of executing internal data management such as self defragmenting may cause the drive to halt responding to host requests. Drive will hang requiring a power cycle of the device to return to normal operation.
The above symptom is associated with, but not limited to, the following systems which configure with Microsoft Windows 7:
- ThinkCentre M90
- ThinkCentre M90p
- ThinkCentre M90z
The systems hard drive is the following:
Intel SSD 80G, P/N 45N7960, FRU 41W0524.
