How To - Connect a Bluetooth Device

  1. To connect a Bluetooth device to a PC running Windows 7, make sure the device is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled.
  2. Open the start menu and type Bluetooth.
  3. Select Add a Bluetooth Device from the search results.
  4. Select the device you want to pair from the list and click Next.
  5. If you are prompted to compare passcodes, make sure the code displayed on the PC matches the code on the device.
  6. Select Yes, and click Next.
  7. Windows will attempt to install the necessary drivers.
  8. Click Close.
  9. To connect a Bluetooth device to Windows 8 or Windows 10, make sure your device is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled.
  10. Open the Start menu and type Bluetooth.
  11. Select Bluetooth Settings from the search results.
  12. Select the device from the list and click pair.
  13. If you are prompted to compare passcodes, make sure the code displayed on the PC matches the code on the device.
  14. Click yes on the device and yes on the PC.
  15. Your device will then pair with your PC.
