Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Extract this package onto the hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AHLP
  3. For Windows Vista, click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
    For Windows XP, click Start, and click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in the step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AHLP\SETUP.EXE
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Unattended Install
Note: This is for system administrators' use only.
  1. Refer to the Manual Install section, and download and expand the files.
  2. At the command line, execute SETUP.EXE with the -S -SMS options.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\WIN\AHLP\SETUP.EXE -S -SMS

Uninstall instructions
  1. Start Windows and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. For Windows Vista and XP, click Start and click Control Panel.
    For Windows 2000, click Start, select Settings, and click Control Panel.
  3. For Windows Vista, click Uninstall a program.
    For Windows XP or 2000, double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Select Access Help, and click the Uninstall/Change or Remove button.
  5. Restart the system.

Determining which version is installed
  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. For Windows Vista, click Uninstall a program.
    For Windows XP or 2000, double-click Add or Remove Program.
  3. For Windows Vista, right-click the title column on the top of program list, and check the Version checkbox. The Version row will be added.
    For Windows XP or Windows 2000, select Access Help, and click Click here for support information link. You will see the version information on the screen.
