      How to Adjust Touchpad Sensitivity - ThinkCentre, ThinkPad

               • ThinkCentre, ThinkPad

      Applies To:

               • All Windows

      Solution

      Note: Users need to have Synaptics ThinkPad UltraNav or ALPS ThinkPad UltraNav Driver installed and is available from Support Site.

      1. Go to Windows Start 

      2. Type “Mouse” in “Search programs and files” box as circled below:

      3. Choose “Mouse”.

      4. A pop up screen of “Mouse Properties” will appear.

      5. Choose “UltraNav” tab or "ThinkPad" tab

      UltraNav Tab

      a. Go to “Settings” as shown below:

      b. A pop up screen will appear.

      c. Expand “Pointing” option at the left index navigator and select “Touch Sensitivity”

      d. Adjust your Touchpad sensitivity

      e. Click on Apply and OK for changes to take effect.

      ThinkPad Tab

      a. Go to “Settings” or "Advanced" (depends on the software version) as shown below

       

      b. A pop up screen will appear.

      c. Go to "Advanced" tab and click on "Motion" tab.

      d. Go to "Touch Activation Threshold" and adjust slider to control the sensitivity.

      e. Click on OK for changes to take effect.
