• Windows 10 November Update (version 1511) November 2015
• Windows 10 Update (version 1507) July 2015

Note: Newer Systems are not listed in this upgrade notice. For these newer systems please refer to the following URL that will show the system and the current supported operating system supported at Partner Center (microsoft.com) or contact your Lenovo Sales office for a Certification letter showing the system family in question has been tested and is supported.

If your device is not listed in the table below, your system was not tested by Lenovo and updated drivers may not be available.

ThinkPad laptops

Limitations

• After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), if you are prompted that Lenovo Vantage cannot be launched, do one of the following:

1. In the prompt windows, click See in Store to launch Microsoft Store. Click Reinstall and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the app reinstallation.
2. Launch Microsoft Store and search for Lenovo Vantage. Click Reinstall and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the app reinstallation.

• ThinkPad E560p, ThinkPad S5:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), if the face recognition function and 3D camera do not work, do the following:
  1. Open the Start menu and then click Settings -> Apps -> Apps & features -> Intel® RealSense™ Depth Camera Manager SR300 -> Uninstall. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation and restart the computer.
  2. Download the latest Intel 3D camera driver from the Lenovo Support Web site. Follow the introductions to install the driver.
  3. Restart the computer after the driver installation is completed. The 3D camera will work normally.
• ThinkPad P50, ThinkPad P70 :
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), when you press the Windows logo key+P, the project setting cannot be changed from Second screen only to PC screen only. Set the project setting to Duplicate or Extend first, and then change to PC screen only.
• ThinkPad T460 and T460s:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), go to Control Panel and view by Category. Click Hardware and Sound ->Device Manager and expand Universal Serial Bus controller. If there is an Unknown USB Device highlighted, do the following:
  1. Right-click the highlighted device and select Uninstall device.
  2. Select Delete the software for this device. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation and restart the computer.
  3. Go back to Device Manager and expand Bluetooth, right click Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) and select Update device.
  4. Select Search automatically for updated driver software. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and restart the computer
• ThinkPad X1 Tablet Gen 2
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), go to Control Panel and view by Category. Click Hardware and Sound ->Device Manager and expand Display Adapters. If the intel graphics adapter is highlighted, do the following:
  1. Right-click the highlighted adapter and select Uninstall device.
  2. Select Delete the software for this device. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation and restart the computer.
  3. Go back to Device Manager. Right-click the highlighted adapter and select Update device.
  4. Select Search automatically for updated driver software. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and restart the computer.
• ThinkPad 10 computers with Broadcom NFC device:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10(1709) to Windows 10 (1803), if two NFC and cellular devices are displayed when you open the Start menu and click Settings -> Network & Internet -> Airplane mode -> Wireless devices, or the NFC switch is still on after turning on Airplane mode, do the following:
  1. Download the package Registry Patch to Remove Secondary Broadcom NFC Radio Button for Windows 10 (64-bit) - ThinkPad from the Lenovo Support Web site, unzip it, and double-click Registry Patch.
  2. Click Yes to add to the registry, and then restart the computer.
• ThinkPad Yoga 11e 5th Gen with Intel® UHD Graphics 600 device:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), if the computer screen auto-rotation is disabled, do the following:
  1. Go to Control Panel and view by Category. Click Hardware and Sound ->Device Manager and expand Display Adapters.
  2. Right-click Intel® UHD Graphics 600 and select Update device. Select Search automatically for updated driver software. The problem is resolved when the driver update process is completed.
• ThinkPad L380 with Intel® UHD Graphics 620 device:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), go to Control Panel and view by Category. Click Hardware and Sound ->Device Manager and expand Display Adapters. If the Intel® UHD Graphics 620 driver is highlighted, do the following:
  1. Right-click Intel® UHD Graphics 620 and select Uninstall device.
  2. Select Delete the software for this device and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation. Then restart the computer.
  3. Open the Start menu and click Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update -> Install now. The latest driver for Intel® UHD Graphics 620 device will be installed.
  4. Restart the computer after the installation is completed.
• ThinkPad with Dolby Audio:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), if the Dolby Audio cannot work, do the following:
  1. Go to Control Panel and view by Category. Click Program -> Uninstall or change a program. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Dolby Audio X2 Windows App.
  2. Go back to Control Panel and click Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager. Expand Sound, video and game controllers. Right-click Conexant SmartAudio and select Uninstall device.
  3. Select Delete the software for this device. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the uninstallation and restart the computer. Ensure that the audio driver has been uninstalled successfully.
  4. Download and install the latest audio driver from the Lenovo Support Website
• All computers with Power DVD:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), Do PC reset from Settings -> Update & Security -> Backup -> Reset this PC. After the PC reset process done, if the PowerDVD cannot works, please launch Microsoft Store and search for PowerDVD. Click Reinstall and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the app reinstallation.
• ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th Gen, X1 Tablet Gen 1 with Sierra Wireless Card:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), if you go to Settings -> Network & Internet -> Airplane mode to change the airplane mode settings, the GPS or WLAN switch might not be displayed. This is a system limitation. To change the GPS or WLAN settings, click the action center icon in the Windows notification area and follow the on-screen instructions.
• ThinkPad X1 Yoga 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen computers with 500-nit panel or OLED panel​:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), if you right-click an empty area of the desktop and click Select Color Settings to change the color settings of your computer, your choice does not apply. The root cause is the incompatibility between the Intel graphics card driver and Windows 10 (1803). A newer version of the driver will be available in Windows Update coming in July 2018.

IdeaPad laptops

Limitations

1. Lenovo Entertainment Hub and Lenovo Entertainment Hub VRU applications will be end of life, if there is some issue,suggest uninstall the apps.
2. No Broadcom support available for Windows 10(1803).
3. Microsoft Edge shortcut icon appears on desktop after updating to Win10(1803). It is by design.
4. Control Panel", "Windows Settings" and “Action center” have been changed after updating to Windows 10(1803). It is by design.
5. Lenovo NB_720S-14IKB:
   • There are two identical device name after paired with other Bluetooth device. It is by design.

ThinkCentre & AIO

Limitations

• All computers with PowerDVD:
  After upgrading the operating system from Windows 10 (1709) to Windows 10 (1803), Do PC reset from Settings -> Update & Security -> Backup -> Reset this PC. After the PC reset process done, if the PowerDVD cannot works, please launch Microsoft Store and search for PowerDVD. Click Reinstall and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the app reinstallation..

IdeaCentre & AIO

Limitations
