How to update the SR635 and SR655 BMC firmware using ThinkSystem System Manager

This article introduces the procedure used to update the BMC firmware for an SR635 and SR655 using ThinkSystem System Manager (TSM).

Log in to the server.
Click Maintenance in the left panel.
Click Firmware Update.
Click Choose File in the System Firmware section.
Select the BMC HPM file and click Open.
Scroll down to the bottom and click Proceed.
A pop-up window will be displayed with a message asking if you are sure you want to flash. Click OK.
A processing icon will be displayed, and each component will start uploading and flashing.
When complete, a pop-up message will be displayed with a message stating that a firmware reset has been called. Click OK. Close the current session and try opening a new session in a couple of minutes.
