How to choose sound output and input device for your Lenovo PC

Steps and instructions for choosing the sound output and input device for your Lenovo PC or laptop

If more than one audio device is connected to your Lenovo PC, but there is no output sound or input voice from the connected device, use the following steps.

Click the Windows icon and select Settings.

Click Sound under the System menu.

There are two fields for choosing the output and input device. Click the arrow for a drop-down list.
Note: If "No output device found" or similar message is displayed in your Windows 10, input your machine model or serial number here to find and install the latest audio driver.

If the audio device is successfully connected (for example, via Bluetooth), the connected device(s) will be available in the drop-down list.

Note: If the connected device has no input or output function, the device will not be available in the input or output list. For example, if an earbud without a microphone is connected, the earbud will not be available in the Input drop-down list.
