Description

Broadcom Wireless LAN driver for the 3000 N200 on systems running Windows XP.

Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANBCM
  3. Click Start, then click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE
  5. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  6. Click Finish to complete the installation and restart the system if necessary.

Unattended Install
Note: This is for system administrators use only.
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANBCM
  3. Click Start, then click Run...
  4. Specify SETUP.EXE /s with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. The driver will be installed automatically.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANBCM\SETUP.EXE /s
    Note: If the message "A program needs your permission to continue" appears, click Continue to finish the installation.
  5. If necessary, restart the system.

Update install
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Win\WLLANBCM
  3. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  4. Double-click System.
  5. Click the Hardware tab, then click Device Manager.
  6. Select Network adapters, then right-click Broadcom 802.11 Multiband Network Adapter.
  7. Click Update Driver Software... then click Browse my computer for driver software.
  8. Click Browse.. then choose the package extracted in step 2.
  9. Click Next.
  10. If necessary, restart the system.

Uninstallation
  1. Start Windows XP and logon with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  3. Click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Select Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter.
  5. Click Uninstall/Change. The driver will be uninstalled automatically.
  6. If necessary, restart the system.
