Windows includes a Battery usage screen that displays which apps are consuming excessive power. This helps identify applications that are draining the battery the most.

A. Find the Battery Screen

1. Click the Settings option from the Start menu.

2. In Settings, select System, and then select Battery.

3. Click See which apps are affecting your battery life to see more details.

B. Analyze Power Usage

1. The Time period can be changed to display battery use from the last 6 hours, 24 hours, or from last week.

2. Scroll down to see a list of applications. This is a list of applications that have used battery power in that period. This also shows what percentage of battery power each application has used.
