This article describes how to enlarge, reduce, or zoom the text size using a TouchPad or keyboard.

Solution
Before starting, make sure the touchpad driver on the system is the latest.
Steps to download drivers from Lenovo support website
- Go to http://support.lenovo.com.
- Key in the product name (ie B560, G230, 100) using the Search for your product option.
- Click the product name.
- Click Drivers & Software.
- Use Manual Update and Select Drivers (or use Scan Now under Automatic Update).
- The drivers will be arranged in categories.
- Select the related category and download the driver.
Method One: Press CTRL and + on the keyboard
Alternatively, press the CTRL and + keys or the CTRL and - keys to control the zoom.
Method Two: Ctrl key + sliding the touchpad
Laptops have a sensitive zoom area on the far right side of the Touchpad as shown in the following picture.
Open a web page and then press and hold the CTRL key and slowly move your finger up and down on the far right side of the Touchpad.
Method Three: Use Pinch feature of the touchpad
The Pinch and Un-Pinch function on the Touchpad controls zoom in and zoom out as shown in the picture below.
Note: Make sure the Pinch Zoom option is checked in Mouse Properties.
Use the following steps:
- Open Control Panel. See Where is Control Panel?
- Under View by, click either Large icons or Small icons to view a list of all Control Panel items.
- Choose Mouse > UltraNav/ThinkPad/ALPS/ELAN/Device Settings (the option name will be different for different touchpad manufacturers or drivers).
- Use the following ThinkPad and Device Settings as examples:
ThinkPad Tab
i). Under Mouse Properties, go to Advanced or Settings (depends on the software version) as shown below. Uncheck Enable gestures.
ii). Click OK for changes to take effect.UltraNav Tab
- Click the UltraNav tab.
- Go to TouchPad and click on Settings.
- Go to Application Gestures -> Pinch Zoom.
- Uncheck the Enable Pinch Zoom box.
Device Settings Tab (use Synaptics touchpad as an example)
i). Under Device Settings, click Settings (depends on the software version) as shown below.
ii). Navigate to Pinch Zoom on the left pane and check Enable Pinch Zoom.
iii). Click Apply and OK for changes to take effect.
On another driver version, the interface may look like this. Switch to Multi-Finger > check Enable Zooming.
