Installation instructions
  1. Start Windows Vista.
  2. Logon with administrative privileges.
  3. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Vista64\VIDEO
  4. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
  5. Specify SETUP.EXE with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\Vista64\VIDEO\SETUP.EXE
    Notes:
    • If the message, "An unidentified program wants access to your computer" appears, click Allow to continue installing.
    • If the message, "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software" appears, click Install this driver software anyway to continue installing.
    • If the message "This program might not have installed correctly" appears, click This program installed correctly to finish installing.
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  7. Click Finish to complete the installation and restart the system if necessary.

Update Install
  1. Start Windows Vista.
  2. Logon with administrative privileges.
  3. Double-click the driver package to extract it onto the hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Vista64\VIDEO
  4. Click Start, click Control Panel, then double-click Programs and Features.
  5. Click Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver, then click Uninstall/Change.
    If the message, "Windows needs your permission to continue" appears, click Continue.
  6. Restart the system and follow the installation instructions in the section above to complete the process.

Unattended Install
Note: This is for system administrators use only.
  1. Start Windows Vista.
  2. Logon with administrative privileges.
  3. Double-click the driver package to extract it to your hard drive.
    The default location is C:\DRIVERS\Vista64\VIDEO
  4. Click Start, select All Programs, select Accessories, then click Run...
  5. Specify SETUP.EXE -s with the full path name where you extracted the package in step 2, and click OK. The driver will be installed automatically.
    Example: C:\DRIVERS\Vista64\VIDEO\SETUP.EXE -s
  6. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  7. Click Finish to complete the installation and restart the system if necessary.

Uninstall instructions
  1. Start Windows Vista.
  2. Logon with administrative privileges.
  3. Click Start, click Control Panel, then click Programs.
  4. Under Programs and Features, click Uninstall a program.
  5. Right-click Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator Driver and select Uninstall.
    If the message, "Windows needs your permission to continue" appears, click Continue.
  6. Restart the system if necessary.
